Bio

A young man with blonde hair, wearing a black suit, white shirt, and black tie, standing against a dark gray background.

Jordan Goodsell is a New York–based actor, director, and singer whose work blends truth, discipline, and creative risk. Raised in Southern California by his grandmother — a dynamic voice teacher and arts educator — and his father, a former athlete turned business coach, Jordan’s foundation was built on heart, grit, and imagination — qualities that continue to shape his storytelling.

A BFA graduate of Chapman University and alum of SpringboardNYC, he has performed across theater, film, and live music. Highlights include A Complete Unknown (dir. James Mangold), the L.A. premiere of Allegiance starring George Takei, and national tours with Under the Streetlamp, where he also serves as vocal arranger and music director.

As co-founder of GooLay Productions, Jordan directs and devlops bold, original work — including This Purple Fucking Pot, a satirical workplace comedy about branding, baby bottle pops, and late-stage capitalism (coming to an immersive NYC venue in fall 2025).

He is actively working toward his next chapter — one that includes Broadway, major screen roles, and continued creative expansion.

Jordan Goodsell is a versatile stage and screen actor known for his grounded presence, sharp comic timing, and emotionally resonant performances. With over a decade of experience, he brings rigor, warmth, and originality to every role.
